HITTIMEBETA

An online music game for family and friends

A favourite song comes on. Someone is sure it was the summer of 1998. Someone else remembers a different year. That's a Hittime night.

A family game night or a party with friends

Bring different generations together with songs from different decades. Pick the languages your group knows, listen to a short clip and work out when it came out. Pass a tablet around the table or invite friends to join online from their own phones.

No printed deck to buy or scan

Open the game in your phone's browser, create a room and invite your friends. The site plays the clips, reveals the answers and keeps everyone's score. You scan the room QR code to join, not a different card every turn.

Your friends, your mix

Choose from 750 songs: English, Hebrew and Russian. Play one language, mix two, or bring all three together. The interface language is a separate choice, so everyone at the table can feel at home.

At the table or miles apart

Pass one tablet around, play on separate phones with one speaker, or hear the music on every device for a remote game. No app installation is required.

Recognition is only the beginning

You do not need to name every song. Listen for 15 or 30 seconds, then decide where it belongs between the years you already have. First to 10 cards wins.

Start free

Up to three people can play with just a name. For a bigger group, only the host registers and verifies their email. Voluntary support helps the project grow; it does not unlock game features.

Looking for a music timeline game like HITSTER?

Hittime is an independent browser game built around placing songs in time. It is not an official HITSTER product. Its cards, audio and scores live on screen, so you can play without a printed deck.
